Here's a picture of the late Sailor Moses at work at the 1996 convention. Sailor passed away in October, 1997. He was highly regarded by friends and fellow artists. At a well-attended memorial service at the 1997 Richmond convention, participants were individually annoited by smoke of the "sweet sage from the Sacred Mountain" in Sailor's memory.

Sailor's spirit lives on in the fine ink he did that many people wear proudly. For more pictures of Sailor's needle work, see Keith elsewhere on this home page.
